Are you wondering how to get from Florence to the Leaning Tower of Pisa?  Join our fascinating Pisa half day trip from Florence to discover the most important attractions of the famous Tuscan town!

Our half day trip to Pisa from Florence includes admission to the Tower of Pisa in Florence Italy- online tickets included in the reservation - and the Cathedral of Pisa, in addition to a guided tour of the old town to admire the splendid Piazza dei Miracoli, the Baptistery dedicated to St. John the Baptist and other famous monuments that have made the Tuscan city famous worldwide.

After our Pisa tower tour from Florence with an expert guide, you will have time to enjoy the city in complete freedom to return to Florence.

The meeting point for the tour in Florence - Pisa can be reached in about an hour - is planned near the Santa Maria Novella train station, near Adua Square. Here you will find the bus and tour that will take you to Pisa: the walking tour with the guide will start on your arrival in Pisa.

Located just a few miles from the mouth of the Arno River, Pisa is famous for its majestic architecture, including its famous leaning tower. The tour will consider the most important places of the city: the beautiful Cathedral Square, better known as the Piazza dei Miracoli, the heart of Pisa and recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO; the majestic Cathedral made from white marble, eternal celebration of the power of the Maritime Republic of Pisa, the Baptistery of St Giovanni in Romanesque style with some gothic elements; the bell tower of the 12th century, known throughout the world for its 'lean' and other monuments that the guide will decide during the itinerary of visits to Pisa.

To climb the Tower of Pisa is a dream that may soon become a reality! From the top you can see Piazza dei Miracoli and the city in all its glory. With our half day tour to Pisa you will visit the Tower of Pisa and avoid the long waiting times at the entrance: the reservation for the Tower of Pisa includes the ticket and skiptheline access to the most famous attraction of Pisa!

Besides the famous leaning tower of Pisa, our charming Pisa half day trip from Florence also includes the Cathedral which inside reveals Arab influences in some coverings and in the organization of space.

Because of the new rules of access in force since 01/04/2014, the entrance to the Cathedral of Pisa is not always possible. In this case, the visit to the Cathedral of Pisa is replaced with a visit to the nearby Piazza dei Cavalieri, home to beautiful buildings like the Palace of the Caravana, which today houses the Scuola Normale Superiore, the church of the Knights of St. Stephen, the Clock Palace and the Tower of Muda. At the centre of the square, you can admire the statue of Cosimo I, who in the 16th century commissioned Giorgio Vasari to restore the old medieval square.

At the end of the Pisa half day itinerary of the city and the Tower of Pisa (where the admission is included in the tour price) you will have free time to go shopping or visit other areas not included in the tour, before returning to Florence.

Travel from Florence to the leaning Tower of Pisa and the most famous attractions of the Tuscan city for a unique half-day trip to Pisa!

'Breathtaking experience'

Even although we knew what to expect, the sight of the leaning tower and the Magnificent Cathedral, Baptistery and Cemetery left us quite breathless. The beautiful green lawns surrounding the piazza, the tourist and students milling around or just relaxing lent a wonderful air to this incredibly beautiful piazza. The guided tour made this experience even more wonderful.
