From June 28th to July 29th, the Lucca Summer Festival 2019 will once again brighten up the summer evenings of one of the most charming Tuscan cities with concerts that, for over twenty years now, have been bringing the best of the national and international live music scene to Tuscany. Now in its 22nd edition, this musical event has become a true 'cult' among the Italian summer events: every year, thousands of spectators from all across the country flock to Piazza Napoleone for the Lucca Concerts: a series of unmissable events. As for several years now, some of the concerts will be held in the magical atmosphere of the ancient walls of Lucca.

• Sunday, June 30: De Gregori & Orchestra (21.30, Piazza Napoleone)
  De Gregori in Lucca will show up accompanied by an orchestra of 40 pieces to perform his greatest hits with a symphonic twist.
  
  

• Friday, July 5: Toto (21.30, Piazza Napoleone)
  Yes, there will also be the legendary Toto at the Lucca Summer Festival 2019! Few other groups have managed to leave a more indelible mark on the music scene. • Saturday, July 6: Calcutta (21.30 Piazza Napoleone)
  If you want to hear the classic Italian hit ‘Il cuore a mille' then you should not miss the Lucca Summer Festival Calcutta concert! The singer-songwriter from Latina, one of the new protagonists of the Italian music scene, will propose the songs of Calcutta in Lucca that made him famous such as ‘Paracetamolo’, ‘Gaetano’ and ‘Pesto’.
  
  

• Sunday, July 7: Elton John (21.30, Historical Walls)
  Elton John at the Lucca Summer Festival is undoubtedly one of the hot dates of the 22nd edition. An artist who needs no introduction will stop in the Tuscan city, where he has already performed 6 times!   The Lucca Summer 2019 also offers an unmissable "double bill" where, in the same evening, you can listen to the New Order, one of the most influential bands of the 80s, and the Elbow, one of the most fascinating groups of contemporary music. • Saturday, July 13: Mark Knopfler (21.00, Piazza Napoleone)
  The legendary Dire Straits guitarist with his 10-piece band is another ‘90s concert of the Lucca Summer Festival 2019 line-up! In Lucca Mark Knopfler will present his new album as well as revive the great successes of his career.
  
  

• Tuesday, July 16: Eros Ramazzotti (21.30, Piazza Napoleone)
  Eros Ramazzotti arrives in Lucca with his 'Vita ce n'è tour' after having touched North and South America with a concert that will mix the great successes of the past with the songs of his last album.
  
  

• Friday, July 19: Salmo and Maneskin (21.00, Piazza Napoleone)
  The Maneskin in Lucca with Salmo promise an evening that will range from the latest rock trends to the best of rap.
  
  

• Saturday, July 20: The Good the Bad and the Queen (21.00, Piazza Napoleone)
  This date of The Good the Bad and the Queen in Lucca is the only Italian date for the supergroup with Damon Albarn (Gorillaz frontman), Simon Tang (Verve guitarist), bassist Paul Simon of the Clash and drummer Tony Hallen who also played with Fela Kuti.
  
  

• Friday, July 26: Gemitaz (21.30, Piazza Napoleone)
  Concerts in Lucca 2019 include another foray into the rap genre with Gemitaz in Lucca, one of the most popular Italian rappers.
  
  

• Saturday, July 27: Scorpions (21.30, Piazza Napoleone)
