From July 28th to August 16th Marina di Castagneto Carducci (LI) will host the 2018 edition of one of the most anticipated Tuscan coast events: the Bolgheri Festival. The shows take place at the Marina di Castagneto arena, one of the most popular places for festivals on the Etruscan Coast, also known as Marina di Donoratico. Despite the change of location in 2016, due to purely logistical reasons (before everything was done in Bolgheri) and the name change (before it was called Bolgheri Melody), the blueprint of the Festival remains unchanged and offers the usual program full of first-class concerts and high-level shows. A blueprint where the numbers speak for themselves: 8 editions, 120 events, 130 artists, 500,000 spectators. Not bad, right? The Festival, with Radio Bruno as a media partner along with the newspaper 'Il Tirreno', is organized by BMF Costa Toscana with the collaboration of LEG and ADManagement. This year, the artistic direction is by Gene Gnocchi. The event has been created thanks to the patronage of the Tuscany Region, the Municipality of Castagneto and the support of important partners such as Toremar, BBC of Castagneto, Terre d'Etruria and Conad.

The Bolgheri Festival 2018 will leave no room for disappointment: from the idols of the young ones such as Riki and Francesco Gabbani, to Ermal Meta’s concerts and dance and cabaret shows, the line-up of the Bolgheri summer Festival is set to please young and old alike. The Bolgheri Music Festival will also offer a series of side events such as talk shows and book launches. In addition to entertainment and culture, one of the aims of this Toscana Music Festival is also the promotion of the surrounding areas. BOLGHERI FESTIVAL PROGRAM 2018

• Saturday 21st July 2018: 'il Grido Negato' dance show by Gruppo di Danza Impeti
  The Bolgheri Festival will kick-off with a dance event. An all-female show that, thanks to a seamless choreographic content, will present a series of representations united by the common theme of violence against women. A subject analyzed through a journey in different places and times: the beauty of dance, this time, will offer the opportunity to delve into a problem which is all the more important in the current time.

• Saturday 28th July 2018: Riki Concert
  After his participation in the 16th edition of Maria De Filippi’s Amici talent show, the young singer-songwriter is one of the most loved by young fans. In his show he will present the songs contained in the CD 'Live and Summer Mania', starting with 'Dolor de Cabeza', the track with a Latin melody born from the collaboration with CNC, the Latin American band of the moment. We are sure that all Riki’s fans will not want to miss the concerts of their idol but at the Bolgheri Melody Festival there is something else: the proximity to the beaches!

• Saturday 4th August 2018: Maurizio Battista in 'Scegli una carta'
  At the Bolgheri Festival the shows are not limited to music but range from dance up to even cabaret. An example of this is Maurizio Battista's show. The actor and television presenter will present a show called "Scegli una carta" in which, as usual, he will offer great entertainment thanks to its sharp irony. In his shows Maurizio Battista jokes about women’s traits or reads and comments on difficult to believe but none the less true adverts and articles.

• Wednesday 8th August: Ermal Meta concert
  Winner with Fabrizio Moro of the Sanremo Festival 2018, with the track ‘Non ci avete fatto niente’, Ermal Meta is one of the most appreciated singer-songwriters in the Italian music scene who has written songs for many Italian artists such as Renga, Marco Mengoni, Patti Pravo and Giusy Ferreri just to name a few. In short, during Ermal Meta’ concerts there will be plenty of good music as the perfect soundtrack under the starry sky of Marina di Castagneto Carducci

• Saturday, 11th August: Francesco Gabbani concert
  Among the events scheduled this year at Marina Castagneto Carducci, the concert of the singer-songwriter from Massa Carrara is set to be one of the most anticipated. We can already picture the whole Bolgheri Arena dancing to the rhythm of 'Occidentalis Karma' and the other tracks by the Tuscan artist.

• Thursday, 16th August: Pio and Amedeo’s 'Tutto fa Broadway'
  The Bolgheri festival of Castagneto Carducci wraps up in the name of irony thanks to the show of the duo Pio and Amedeo who reached notoriety thanks to their participation in ‘Le Iene’ and the success of the television program 'Emigratis'. At the Bolgheri Festival 2018 they will present a show that offers a cross-section of life in Italy with the direct and irreverent comedy that characterizes the two artists: gags, jokes and improvisation will therefore bring the rich program of Bolgheri Festival 2018 to an end.
